This is the most accurate Home Price Index that is broken into both the High End Market, Low End Market ( MOST accurate) and the Middle Average Market
so you can have advanced notice on the market changes and the forecasts. When I originally designed the HPI for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in 1938 

when I wanted 3 price bands; High , Low and Middle, but with a $65,000 budget restraint we ended up with one single average price HPI spanning all price ranges from Million $$ homes to low end foreclosures..

Today all of the 7 major Real Estate Boards are still using this one single price average rendering it very inaccurate. I just love following supply and demand,
and many other market change indicators and you will find that you may need my Statistics Lesson to fully be empowered to analyze and forecast.
