Chilliwack Real Estate Market Analysis Reports with Corney Les

Dec 1 2011 Here we interview Corney Les from RE/MAX Corney Les Realty and Mayor Sharon Gatez about the Chilliwack market.  

• The Chilliwack has a buyer's market with lots of listing inventory and a low 8.2%Sold ratio.
•  April to June had strong sales with prices increasing  $40,000+ this spring and now prices have settled back to a YTD increase of $23,064.
• Most Active Price Range:  homes in the $200-$300,000 range are the most active and prices are stable with average sales discounts of $12,000. 
• Least Active Price Range: homes over $400,000 with only 3% selling last month and experiencing a $18,000 List to Sell discount.
• Active listings have dropped  a minimal 4%  in the last month so it should remain a strong buyers market for the rest of the year.
